[DELIVERY] What local pickup options do you provide?

If you choose “local pickup” in our pledge manager, you can pickup your game(s) at Planet Harry in Vienna (Austria) without paying for shipping. Unfortunately, we cannot support other local pickup options. If you accidentally choose local pickup and don’t update it in time, we can still send the game to you but will charge double the shipping cost due to the extra effort and costs that occur.

[DELIVERY] Are taxes and VAT included in the pledge costs?

Yes! We have customs-friendly shipping for the following locations: US, EU, Canada, Australia, UK, and China. Import taxes and VAT are already included in these locations where applicable. There are no additional cost other than the shipping costs you can find under “Shipping”,

Yes, you will be a Kickstarter backer and able to upgrade your pledge in the pledge manager (Backerkit).

[PLEDGE MANAGER] Will prices increase in the Pledge Manager after the campaign finishes?

Yes. However, iIf you back during the campaign you are locking in the pricing from the campaign, even if you just back for $1. Late backers will see a slight increase in pricing across the board.

Yes, you will be able to change or update your order and information (up to a certain time) through Backerkit, our pledge manager.

[PLEDGE MANAGER] Will I be able to pick different languages if I pledge for multiple copies?

Yes, you are able to pick different languages. However, please keep in mind different language versions will ship from different locations and therefore might increase shipping costs.

[GAME] Why aren't all languages from the first campaign supported?

As an Indie-Publisher and all designers having full-time jobs (besides our board game adventures) we rely on partners to localize different languages. At the moment for some of them it is too soon to join us in this Kickstarter campaign. There might be localizations coming directly to retail but nothing is confirmed yet.

All cards are standard poker cards (2,5in x 3,5in).

[COMPONENTS] What is the difference between the Hidden Leaders base game 1st vs. 2nd printing?

The second printing won’t have the Tarot Leader cards anymore. Also we are removing UV-spot printing on the box and board due to environmental reasons. We want to reduce plastic as much as possible in our products. Instead we are adding linen finish to the board and making it double sided (with an alternative scenario on the second side). Translation issues in localized versions will be fixed and the Ace Fighter Hero will have a slight updated icon of their ability.

[REFUND] What if I need a refund after the campaign ends?

We will gladly refund you if the request is made within 14 days of the end of the campaign. Following that time frame, any “no reward” pledges will not be refunded. All requests for a refund, if accepted by us, will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee, which represents the Kickstarter fees, our work, and payment processing fees. We will not process any refunds after production is complete. Please note that if you do not complete the pledge manager by our required deadline, you will not be eligible for a refund for any reason. The pledge manager will be open for sufficient time to complete it, and we will send several reminders as well.

[RETAIL] Will the game be available at retail?

Yes. We are proud to say that Hidden Leaders will also be available in retail. That being said, lots of component upgrades and additional content won’t be available in retail or in very limited amounts. BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
